Fresh Hop Czech Pale Ale, 12° Plato, 5.1% ABV. U čerstvého chmele rozhodují hodiny, proto Michal s Vavříkem vyrazili v den sklizně na chmelnici, naložili čerstvé chmely Juno a Ceres přímo u česačky a zamířili zpět do pivovaru. Zelené hlávky ihned putovaly do chmelovaru a staly se základem letošního Fresh Hop Czech Pale Ale. Na rozdíl od sušeného či peletovaného se čerstvý chmel zpracovává ihned po sklizni a přináší do piva svěží, zelený charakter a prchavá aromata, která se dalším zpracováním rychle mění. Juno přináší jemnou vůni manga, jablka, banánu a melounu s citrusy a lehkou kořenitostí, zatímco Ceres přidává svěží tóny citronu, limetky, pomeranče a grapefruitu s jemným nádechem meruněk.
When it comes to fresh hops, every hour counts. That’s why Michal and Vavrik headed to the hop fields, picked up freshly harvested Juno and Ceres right by the hop-picking machine, and drove them back to the brewery. That same day, the green hop cones were in the brewhouse, becoming the heart of this year’s Fresh Hop Czech Pale Ale. Fresh hops bring a vibrant, green and herbal aroma, complemented in Juno and Ceres by delicate fruity and citrus notes. We deliberately kept this Czech Pale Ale light, simple, and highly drinkable to give this year’s harvest room to shine. From the hop field to the brewhouse in just a few hours – it doesn’t get much fresher than this.
